Dear President Trump,
We congratulate you on honoring your campaign promise to the American people by officially recognizing Jerusalem as the Capital of the State of Israel and instructing the US State Department to start making plans to relocate the United States Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Just as President Truman made history by leading the world in welcoming Israel to the family of nations some 70 years ago, the legacy of your presidency will now include being the first to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital city.
We are now hopeful that many other nations will follow your bold declaration and that consequently they too will afford Jerusalem the dignity it deserves and decide to move their embassies to this extraordinary city.
